Kat Dennings, born Katherine Litwack on June 13, 1986, is an American actress.
She was born and raised in Bryn Mawr, near Philadelphia. Her mother, Ellie Judith Litwack, was a poet and speech therapist, while her father, Gerald Jay Litwack, was a molecular pharmacologist and a former assistant dean at Thomas Jefferson University.
