          Mr. Bogdanovich was commissioned to paint artworks and large murals by Walter Reed Bimson, avid art collector and Chairman of the Valley National Bank of Arizona (acquired by Bank One; finally acquired by JPMorgan Chase).

          Mr. Bimson was a visionary who “made banks friendly” by displaying art. The VNB Collection had 3500 works. The Buffalo Hunt above was the artist's last work.  Bogdanovich was painting the finishing touches on the 26-foot long mural when he accidentally fell and struck his head.
